Ons Jabeur à la 39 place au classement WTA

Très en vue à Doha, après avoir fait chuter Jennifer Brady et Karolina Pliskova, la Tunisienne Ons Jabeur s'est inclinée au tie-break, en quart de finale du tournoi, face à la tchèque Petra Kvitova. Cette performance lui a fait gagné 5 places au classement WTA

La joueuse tunisienne a atteint ainsi sa meilleure place du classement féminin, après son joli parcours à Doha. Ons Jabeur est passée de la 44e à la 39e place, avec 1373 points. Au classement « Race », elle est 11e avec 724 points depuis le début de l’année (+1 place).

La tunisienne devrait entamé une tournée américaine, avec les tournois d’Indian Wells du 11 au 22 Mars, Miami du 23 Mars au 5 Avril et le tournoi de Charleston en Caroline du Sud du 06 Avril ou 12 Avril.

Trois très bons challenges qui seront une occasion pour Ons de confirmer son excellent début de saison et continuer sa marche vers le TOP 20.
