Le club égyptien d’Al Ahly a décidé de poursuivre les deux clubs tunisiens auprès de la FIFA pour non respect de leurs engagements financiers.
En effet, la direction du club cairote d’AL Ahly Al Masri a déposé plainte le samedi 9 mai 2020 auprès de la FIFA, contre le CS Sfaxien et l’Etoile du Sahel.
Le club d’Ali Maâloul avait signé un accord avec l’équipe du Sahel pour le paiement échelonné de l’amende décidée par la FIFA au profit du joueur ivoirien Slimani Koulibaly. Cette affaire concernait l’imbroglio de son départ d’Al Ahly sans l’accord du club égyptien.
La valeur de l’amende s’élèverait à 1,4 million de dollars, et l’ESS qui s’est engagé à la rembourser, n’a toujours pas respecté cet accord
Dans une autre affaire, le club d’Al Ahly dit avoir transféré 125 mille dollars par erreur sur le compte du CS Sfaxien, au moment de la signature du contrat du nigérian Junior Ajayi, mais le CSS n’a restitué que 25 mille dollars de cette somme
