L'ancien international succède à Jamil Kacem à la tête du club d'Al Kawkab, qui vient de monter cette saison en MBS League.

Après avoir intégré en cours de saison le staff d’Al Kawkab, Kamel Zaiem a été nommé head-coach de la formation d’Al Kharj. Cette équipe compte dans ses rangs les deux milieux tunisiens Chaker Rgui et Mohamed Khanfir, ainsi que l’autre recrue, arrivée libre du Club Athlétique Bizertin, l’attaquant Zied Ounalli. Ce dernier a été rejoint par le sénégalais Youssoupha M’bengue.
