La Tunisie a parfaitement géré son entrée en matière des qualifications de la Coupe d'Afrique des nations 2021, en écrasant la Libye (4-1) à Radès.

Demi finaliste la dernière édition, la Tunisie a superbement entamé sa campagne de qualifications pour la Coupe d’Afrique des nations 2021.
Face à la Libye de Faouzi Benzarti, les aigles de Carthage se sont imposés 4-1 grâce à des doublés du stéphanois Khazri (33e, 88e) et du marseillais Khaoui (41e, 52e). La Libye a réduit le score juste avant la mi-temps, par l’intermédiaire de l’attaquant de l’Esperance de Tunis, Elhouni (45+1e).

Dans l’autre rencontre du groupe J, la Tanzanie a battu la Guinée Équatoriale (2-1).

Les hommes de Monder Kebaier ont logiquement pris la tête du groupe.
